Coming from interior design and scenography, artist Dilger Masha started mainly with the staging and presentation of objects as well as architecture and landscape scenarios. In the course of time, more and more human portraits appear in her work. The relationship between human and space is very important to Masha. In the exhibition Masha tries to give insights into my photographic collection, in which objects as well as humans should get attention. Since Masha is also a student of exhibition design, the exhibition space is always an imagined part of the staging of the works. Masha tries to break down the classical, museum-like character of an exhibition, which is often characterized by a great distance to the portrayed, and to let the visitor join in a participatory way so that he or she can approach what is being shown.
